Serendipitous Save: A Public Service Announcement

We returned from a tour of Central America last Wednesday. The Monday prior to my return, I decided to do some "spring cleaning," if you will, of my laptop's hard drive: delete old files, make some new folders, organize some Barrage pictures...you know, the usual.

I also decided, in what now can only been seen as an act of serendipity, to back up my hard drive. [It should be noted that I had not previously backed my hard drive since October.]

The following night, my laptop crashed.

I'm currently in Williamsport, PA (Jason's hometown), where Lenovo sent me a new hard drive yesterday. I've put it in my laptop, but I can't restore my laptop to functional status until I get back to AZ on March 16th. That being said, there won't be any blog updates until at least the few days following that.

The moral of this post? Go back up your hard drive.
